ProTomorrow

Act responsibly – make a difference here and now

For many years, Maritim has been implementing specific measures in its German hotels in the areas of energy, water, food waste, waste separation and cleaning products.

Since 2022, Maritim has complemented these activities with “ProTomorrow”, an environmental and social initiative in which you, as a guest, can actively participate.

That's what you do:

Please help us to conserve natural resources.

For stays of several days, you can decide each day whether or not you would like your room to be cleaned. By opting out, a cleaning service is omitted, which would otherwise use water, energy and cleaning products, among other resources.

Small ProTomorrow sacks have been placed in every room, along with a pamphlet explaining how the initiative works. If you decide to forego a visit from housekeeping you can hang the sack on the doorknob outside your room before midnight. The gesture is honoured with a small ‘thank you’ placed inside it the next day. 

That's what we do: 

For each room cleaning not requested, Maritim allocates funds according to a defined calculation model to a selected environmental or social project in the region.
