Lots to discover
Thanks to its convenient proximity to the main train station, the train can be reached within a few minutes on foot. The short walk to Wuerzburg’s magnificent city centre takes you directly along the Main River. The baroque old town of Würzburg offers numerous sights, such as the Juliusspital, Wuerzburg Cathedral, the Vierroehrenbrunnen, the Museum im Kulturspeicher, or Wuerzburg Residence, all waiting to be explored. Alternatively, you can embark on a hike through the vineyards surrounding Wuerzburg. Winegrowing in Franconia dates back to the 8th century and was the largest cultivation area in the Holy Roman Empire. If you are looking for a maritime experience, head to the Old Main Bridge or take a leisurely boat ride along the Main. The best way to start is with the Wuerzburg Welcome Card!
