The Maritim Hotel is located just a few metres from the central railway station and provides quick access to motorways A5 and A67. The bus to the Frankfurt Airport runs every 30 minutes during the day and leaves right behind the hotel from the central railway station. The hotel is conveniently located near the region's many tourist attractions. Whether it's the Mathildenhöhe artists' colony with its enthralling Art Nouveau-style architecture, the Darmstadt-Kranichstein Railway Museum or the Hessian Bergstrasse ("mountain road") with traditional wineries and restaurants, Darmstadt and its surrounding areas have a great deal to offer.

Important notice: New construction of the Rheinstraße bridge
The new construction of the Rheinstraße bridge, which leads to the Maritim Hotel in the direction of the city centre, includes not only the bridge itself, but also the intersections at their respective ends. The construction work is expected to last until the middle of 2027. Until then, unfortunately, considerable traffic obstructions and temporary full closures are to be expected. From 3 April 2023, car traffic will be routed via one-way rings: Towards the city, this ring will lead via "Deutsche-Telekom-Allee" or via "Am Kavalleriesand" and then via the "Hilpertstraßenbrücke bridge", and out of the city via "Berliner Allee" and "Stirnwegbrücke" from 2024. Increased traffic should be expected during commuting times.
