More than 700,000 visitors a year are enchanted in one of the GOP Varieté theatres in Hanover, Essen, Bad Oeynhausen, Münster and Munich. The sixth theatre opened in Bremen in September 2013. International artists and entertainers who have the talent to reinterpret the art of variety between tradition and innovation will provide unforgettable moments.

The Bremen Music Festival explores music's vast emotional spectrum, close up and from every angle, in 35 events at 16 venues in 26 locations. In accomplished performances, renowned musicians offer stirring journeys across the centuries, genres and continents – in Bremen, Bremerhaven, selected venues in north-west Germany and in Groningen in the Netherlands.

Every year in September, the city of Bremen celebrates its attachment to water with lectures, thematic city tours and many other attractions.

18th October to 3rd November 2024

The inhabitants of Bremen call their Freimarkt, which is held in the last two weeks of October every year, the "fifth season". The biggest popular festival in the northern part of Germany is held between the main railway station and the Bremen Trade Fair area, just round the corner from the hotel: colourful carousels, eatery stalls with hearty fare as well as sweet titbits, beer tents and much more herald fun filled evenings in a convivial atmosphere.

Christmas Market
Festively lit streets, atmospherically adorned shopping arcades and shop windows graced with Christmas decorations – this is the face of the city of Bremen, presenting a selection of international wares in the run-up to Christmas. Taking a stroll through the historic city centre, you will stumble upon divine gifts for all the family.
